Studio Assignments
Students must have a major teacher who is on the Peabody faculty for the duration of their studies. Studio assignments are arranged at the time of admission on the basis of student requests and teacher availability. Once enrolled, students are expected to remain with the same studio teacher throughout their program. However, if a student encounters compelling circumstances that necessitate a change, they may submit an Academic Petition as detailed in the Applicability section. All requests for studio changes will be evaluated by the Director of Undergraduate and Graduate Studies. If approved, changes will typically occur between semesters rather than during an ongoing term.
