Tuition and Fees

Medical students matriculating in August 2023 will be charged tuition at the rate of $62,850 per year. The 2023-2024 tuition for graduate students registered in the School of Medicine is $62,850. These tuitions cover all normal charges. The tuition fee is payable in two equal installments, one at the opening of the academic year, and one at the beginning of the second half of the year. Living expenses, health insurance, an $850 annual fee for University Health Services, a $200 imaging fee for first and second year students, and a $740 matriculation fee are in addition to the tuition charge. The matriculation fee is a general University assessment and is collected once only from new students at the time of their initial enrollment as full-time students and/or as degree candidates in the University. Special schedules for payment of fees can be arranged with the Office of Financial Affairs.  Please visist the School of Medicine Financial Aid website for more information regarding tuition and cost of attendance.

Students will not be admitted to the regular courses until they have registered at the Office of the Registrar of the School of Medicine and arranged for payment of their fees for the first half of the academic year. Registration is not required for the second half, but arrangements must be made for the payment of second half tuition before students can be admitted to classes.

All student account balances are required to be paid in full by the payment due date.  If you have an outstanding student account balance, your account will be placed on a "financial hold" and you may be subject to one or more of the following:

(a) prohibited from course registration

(b) denied a diploma at graduation

(c) account may be placed with an external collection agency

If a balance remains due after graduation or separation from the University, the student's account will be considered in default and may be assigned to an external party for collections.
