MBA/MS Health Care Management

The Johns Hopkins MBA (Full-Time) is a STEM designated program. International students in F-1 status who complete this program and obtain post-completion Optional Practical Training (OPT) may be eligible for the STEM OPT Extension. Students should consult the Office of International Services if they have questions about this benefit.
Admission Requirements
Students applying to the MBA/MS Health Care Management program will be required to meet the admissions criteria of the Johns Hopkins - Carey Business School.
Program Requirements
The MBA portion of the MBA/MS Health Care Management requires students to complete a total of 60 Carey Business School credits. This includes 26 credits of full-time MBA Foundational Courses and 10 credits of Carey Business School elective courses. To reach the 54 credits for the MBA, Carey Business School will accept 18 credits of MS Health Care Management coursework.
The MS Health Care Management portion of the dual degree requires 24 Carey Business School credits. Students will complete 14 credits of required MS Health Care Management coursework and 10 credits of MS Health Care-specific electives.
Dual degree recipients receive both diplomas upon completion of both programs.
