Center for Data Analytics, Policy, and Government
The Johns Hopkins University Center for Data Analytics, Policy, and Government encompasses a set of graduate programs designed to build knowledge and skills that prepare students to be leaders in policymaking, administration, security, intelligence, analytics, and the nonprofit sector. The center’s programs bring together theory and practice; students use their graduate education to inform and advance their professional work.
Based in Washington, D.C., the Center for Data Analytics, Policy, and Government offers a vibrant learning environment for both onsite and online graduate programs, as well as a forum for policy and governance discussions. The center provides a venue for nonpartisan efforts to expand knowledge of the U.S. policymaking process, national security enterprise, intelligence community, nonprofit work, and analytical methods used for assessment and prediction. In addition, the center is involved in a number of government and private sector partnerships that further enhance student learning and leadership development.
Graduate Degrees and Certificates
The Center for Data Analytics, Policy, and Government is home to six master degree programs: MS in Data Analytics and Policy; MA in Global Security Studies; MA in Government; MS in Intelligence Analysis; MA in Nonprofit Management; and MA in Public Management.
In addition, students may complete a dual program that allows them to pair an MA in Government with an MBA from the Johns Hopkins University's Carey Business School.
