MA in Global Security Studies/Certificate in Intelligence
Students pursuing a Master of Arts in Global Security Studies may obtain an additional credential by completing courses that will lead to a Certificate in Intelligence. This combined credential will prepare graduates for careers in the U.S. Intelligence Community and in government agencies and private sector organizations that use intelligence or work with the intelligence enterprise.
Note that this entry is for currently enrolled students only. The Intelligence Certificate program is not currently accepting new students.

This combined credential program is not currently accepting new students.
Program Requirements
Students pursuing the MA in Global Security Studies may obtain an additional credential by completing a sequence of courses offered by the Certificate in Intelligence program. This combined credential requires students to complete 15 courses (compared to 17 to complete both programs separately):
- Four required core courses from the MA in Global Security Studies program
- Four customizable core courses from the MA in Global Security Studies program
- Two electives from the MA in Global Security Studies program
- One required core course from the Certificate in Intelligence program
- Four customizable core courses from the Certificate in Intelligence program
Students pursuing the combined MA in Global Security Studies and Certificate in Intelligence credential are not eligible to pursue the MA in Global Security Studies concentration.
